Jamfest 2026: September 4-6th

For the joy of playing music with others” - Annie Avery

What is Jamfest?

Join Yukon Women in Music (YWIM) for a weekend retreat all about the joy of playing music with others.  With workshops offerred by local professional musicians, opportunities to develop skills on your instrument and build connections with the YWIM community.

Jamfest is for anyone curious about how to play music with others (jam), anyone wanting to improve their jamming, and anyone looking to find people in their community to jam with!

There are typically full group workshops to get into the mindset of communicating/playing with others, small group time to practice the skills with mentors, instrument workshops, time to interact with fellow musicians, informal fireside jams, plenty of areas to just play, and an opportunity to perform as a group in a supportive environment.

All genders welcome. Bring your friends!
